This tutorial addresses the Taming the Beast quest chain from the point just just before Thotar offers you a taming Rod for a Dire Mottled Boar in Razor Hill. Thotar gives you a series of three taming rods, each one is different and allows you tame beasts in the next order: Dire Mottled Boar, Surf Crawler and finally an Armored Scorpid.

After getting finished the taming Element of the Quest chain, you must head to Orgrimmar and speak to Ormak Grimshot my response while in the Valley of Honor in order to unlock your pet managing capabilities: Tame Beast; Feed Pet; Revive Pet; and Beast Training.

Ultimately, remember to go to the Pet Trainer and grab the Pet abilities that you have got to give to your pet.
